Prayer Ministry
“For where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them.” — Matthew 18:20
November 2026
Let’s come together as one Body and intentionally invite the Lord into these spaces for the next month.
Women's Bible Study has been enjoying great times together around the Word in the book of Acts and Ephesians this year. The Spirit is moving among us each week as we examine the Scriptures together and grow deeper with one another. Pray for continued wisdom and revelation, connections to community, and more women from our body to be involved.
Kid’s Ministry: That the Lord would raise strong leaders in Kids ministry to be pillars in the lives of the children and families we are serving. Continued unity and shared vision amongst the children’s ministry team. Grace, favor, and provision with ECA teachers and staff as we continue to use the space to share the gospel on Sundays.
Pray for the Young Life ministry at Buchtel; that Jesus would reach the students with the Gospel.
Praise for the Hospitality Team as they seek to bring greater connection within our body to those who are new and those who call Garden City home. Pray that their visible presence is received as an invitation to be a wanted, active participant and not just an observer on the outside.
Pray for our elders and their families. Protection against the enemy as they faithfully serve Garden City. Unity among the members as they seek the Lord in making decisions and guiding the direction of our church.
Praise for our worship team and the way they lead us into a posture of worship each Sunday morning. Pray for their sensitivity to the Spirit as they lead, unity among them, and courage to follow God’s leadership. Also for the team to continue to discover their unique style of worship leading and grow in confidence in how God ministers through each of them.
Lift up Jayson and Evie. Pray for their young marriage as they lead our young people with wisdom and discernment. Praise for the growing connections between the students individually and the developing sense of belonging and participation within the group. Pray for continued unity and connection. Pray for the development of strong relational theological attachments to Jesus that replaces distortions of who God is along with soft and receptive hearts.
Let’s bring these requests throughout the next month and be expectant that God is moving as we raise our voices in unity!
