Can I attend if I’m … me?
Wherever life has taken you, and whatever journey you are on, we invite you into the journey of being transformed by the love of Jesus. You are welcome.
What time is service?
We are currently offering one worship + teaching service at 10 AM. Raise your hands, sing loud, hum along, move around, or just sit and listen. It’s up to you!
All are welcome to join us for Contemplative Prayer during the 9 AM hour prior to service. Contemplative prayer is an ancient form of prayer that centers around quiet attentiveness to God. Rather than coming to God with a checklist or agenda, we come to Him with an open heart and allow him to speak to us and tend to our hearts.
We also welcome Middle and High School Students to attend our Youth Ministry Bible Study during the 9 AM hour. Bring a friend, and stick around after to attend service with your family afterwards!
Where do I go when I arrive?
If the church parking lot is full, please head to our overflow parking area at the Akron Woman’s City Club right next door. Once you’re inside our building, the Garden City Kids check-in is located downstairs to the left. The Worship Center is up the stairs from the foyer. We also have a handicap accessible entrance with an elevator as well, available on the side of the building.
What if I have children?
We love babies and kids! We have a great team of caring, background-checked volunteers to serve your family. For babies, we have nursery volunteers to support you and provide a break for you if you need. But if you’d rather keep your baby with you, that’s just fine! For all children through fifth grade, we have awesome volunteers available to teach and play with your children downstairs during both services. For middle and high school students, we offer a Student Ministry Bible Study from 9 to 10 AM every Sunday.
